I find it amusing in a way that everyone is so concerned about the sacred reward pool.

If people didn't take this so bitterly seriously, but instead took it more lightly, one would probably have a lot of fun earning their money. But this way it degenerates into a really humourless existence... (I don't exclude myself, whenever I lose my sense of humour, I regret it afterwards).

I'm sure there will be no "purge" of nasty machinations. If one goes, the next comes. Those who take it upon themselves to represent the crowd, that's fine if they don't do it dogmatically.
Everyone may be a protector here and there. Those who give up their role will eventually be replaced. ... It's only this dogged demand for "anyone who isn't for me is against me" and all this talk that really makes an environment unattractive and makes one' s existence miserable.
