the more laws are needed to live together, the less moral people are. Think about it, if a person needs to be forced to do what is right, then that is not a very ethical person.

This reminds me again on a talk between a friend of mine and me. She said that if the legislator had not come up with the measures, then she would probably have behaved recklessly or not considerately enough. I was speechless and asked her if she thought people should be forced to obey. Which, in principle, she had answered in the affirmative.

I then asked her how she came to think so badly of herself and whether she would not have seen all by herself that there was a need, if it were real. That made her think ... maybe she will remember it.
I had had the thought that she would reject herself, and this was reinforced by this conversation.

Those who don't love themselves but always criticise themselves, don't find value in love, don't respect themselves, always behave the way they think other people want them to behave, lose themselves in being liked and finally, they must think and feel, they need the stern hand on the outside.

So, I agree, who needs a force to act ethically, cannot be ethical.
