very engaged speech, thank you.
He talks about suffering in the end. It has a double message for me: Accept that life is miserable and you can't do anything about it... Knowing that I can't do anything about suffering can make me a cheerful person, right?
What people are missing though, wenn they talk about "life as suffering" is that life itself offers numerous situations on an individual basis to follow ones own consciousness. This includes to abandon security and welcome spontaneity.
My man and I got married last Friday. We went to a small village. When we entered the town hall we had to wear the stupid masks. When we were escorted into the wedding room by the registrar and sat down, I immediately took off my mask and said: "I will not marry wearing a mask." The lady herself kept the mask on and apologised for doing so. She was fine, you could tell she loved her job. She put a lot of effort into it, but as she had a lot of reading to do, she was visibly short of breath. I felt sorry for her. At the end of the ceremony and on my way out the door, I held out my hand to her. She took it without hesitation.
