There is so much nonsense being talked that if it were weighed out in gold, our beautiful earth would probably be doubly and triply covered in it. Including me. HaHa.
I guess some of it is due to nasty boredom. Or a bad habit of finding everything stupid that belongs to a pre-mobile era.

Someone very close to me has now had what he thinks is irreversible medical treatment and now has a stent stuck in his neck. He now wishes he had never had the thing inserted. And the medication, he's afraid to stop it.

I'm not even going to start. No reason in this world will make me swallow pills every day that I'm supposed to take to stay healthy. When I get sick, and I will, there is no way around it, I will avoid all doctors who only see me as a billing model and want to talk me chronically ill.

Seen in this light, I would even think we are probably less intelligent than our ancestors, who did not see themselves doomed to die because of every inequity and continued to live even if we saw them today as already dead.

Personally, I don't know what is so desirable about living to 80 and older. If I'm on my last legs and have neither purpose nor mission at this age, I'd rather not live that long. Which is not to say that I don't love life. Because I do.
