Imagine someone comes up to you, pulls out a gun, and shoots you. When he is questioned as to why he shot you he responds “If I hadn't shot him he was going to defend himself when I shot him.” Doesn't make any sense does it? Well believe it or not that kind of thing happens a lot. Ever heard of resisting arrest? It is a bullshit charge that says if you in any way resist being arrested or detained by police, you are guilty of a crime, even if the police didn't have a valid reason to detain you. You can literally be arrested for nothing but resisting arrest. In other words you can be thrown in jail and charged with a crime, and face the punishment of 5 years prison and a $5,000 dollar fine, just for saying “I have committed no crime you can not detain/arrest me”.
Land of the free you say? #PoliceStateUSA I say.
