And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.
And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
And Isaac dwelt in Gerar.
Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Hello parishioners, having read those Bible verses, I will be using Isaac as an example. I pray God help us all in Jesus name.

To succeed means to attain success or reach a desired goal.

Now Note this;

1. Everyone desires and celebrates success.
2. The blessing that brought success is superior to the curse that brings blessing.
3. God created everyone and everything to succeed.
4. The key to escaping failure and enjoying success is the blessing of God.
5. Success is not automatic, it's a process.

GATEWAYS TO SUCCEED.

1.Obedience to God's word and the principles of God.

1. Deligence. (Proverbs 22:29)
2. Perseverance ( He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved)
   4.Consistency.
   5.courageouness.

Now let's look @ the Effects of Isaac's blessing.

1. He went from begging to become a channel of blessing.
2. He was envied instead of being pitied.
3. He enjoyed fruitfulness.
4. He enjoyed God's favor that cancelled all hatred of the people against him.

Keys to lasting success.

1. Accept God's mandate.
2. Agree with God and disagree with your setback.
3. Talk positively and understand what God says to your life, ministry and career.
4. Answer wrong words with the right word.
