What is prayer?
Prayer is a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or another deity.
An object is a thing someone desire; it is something we touch.
Purpose of praying:
A popular conception of prayer is that if we have faith in God, pray diligently and if the cause we are praying for is a righteous one (like the health of another person), then God will intervene in a supernatural way to make our wish come true.
Types of prayers;
- Adoration: Praising God.
- Contrition: Asking for God's forgiveness.
- Petition: Asking God for a favor.
- Thanksgiving: Showing God gratitude.
OBJECTS OF PRAYER.
- Salvation.
- Spiritual establishment.
- Spiritual revival.
- Divine vindication.
- Preservation and support.
- Prosperity.
Ways God answers prayer.
- State of the heart.
- Faith; it determines the result you get.
- Prayers accompanied by works.
