The word of God is the source of light. And Jesus is the word of God! Hence, Jesus is the source of light.
The importance of light cannot be over- emphasized. Physical speaking, the sun is the major source of light. Yet God is it's creator.
John 1:3 says All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
This definitely includes the sun.
Let the light from the sun get out of the way and allow Jesus to shine because he is the biggest light!
Psalm 119:130 says The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Daily recognition of Jesus in your life puts you at the front line of life.
Matthew 5:16 says Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
If you don't have Jesus, you have no life! Eternal life is at work only for those who believe in his name.
James speaking about Jesus as the source of light says Every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of light, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Jesus is ever unchanging source of light. Let your light impact others on daily basis. If you don't have Jesus, you have no light.
