- Have a personal time with God daily, failing to do so, you won't know what he wants you to sing for him or the people.
- Choose a Godly environment to develop that ministry
- Be God's kingdom minded.
- Develop a quality relationship with your pastor and church leadership.
- Do not leave the stage dry.
- Every minister needs proper management and administration Skill.
- Plan ahead.
- Have a mindset of excellence.
- Develop a strong team.
- Ensure your team and choir members live in harmony and pursue the same goal.
- A music minister must have a forgiving spirit.
- Measure your growth and set up new standards.
- Maximize your first appearance.
- Ensure your ministry and song first affects you before ministering.
- Be real in your worship.
- Be creative. Learn to memorize lyrics.
- Observe the audience.
- Choose the song that carries the message you want to deliver.
- Don't sing a song because it is new and don't avoid the song because it is old.
- Mind your rehearsals. Let there be permanent hunger for more.
