And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

Listening to lot plead with the wicked men of Sodom, one would assume he knew better.

But the same lot was willing to give out his daughters to be ravished by these evil men.

If lot had genuine love for God and had surrendered to his rule he would have stayed out is Sodom.

Ever before he moved into the city, the Bible tells us that it was a known fact that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were dungeons of evil.

When God decided to destroy these evil cities, lot found it difficult to leave.

He had lived so long and so contented among ungodly people that he has no longer a believable witness for God.

He allowed the environment to shape him rather than him shaping his environment.

How could he fight evil when he called the perpetrators, brethren?

No man can speak from the two ends of his mouth. You cannot be hot and cold at the same time.

What is your stand even as you read nuggets today?

Do those who know you see you as a witness for God or are you one of the crowds bending in unnoticed.

How do you live in the absence of the multitude? Have you genuinely surrendered to Jesus?

Can your brethren testify to this?

To impact others, you must first decide to be different for the master our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Thanks for visiting my blog and God bless you.
