Definitivamente prefiero trabajar con masa flexible o foami flexible para hacer estas figuras, ya que el material reciente que compré como arcilla secado al fío no es algo fácil de dominar, menos para crear estas figuras, por lo que crear este pandita fue muy placentero y relajado para mí, tambien conseguí una resina de secado al aire y me funciona mucho mejor por mis alergias, lo recomendable es dejar secar bien la pieza al menos por 24 horas para emplear la resina, hará que la pieza sea más durable, lavable y resistente.

I definitely prefer working with flexible modelling clay or flexible foam to make these figures, as the material I recently bought – which is described as air-drying clay – isn’t easy to get to grips with, let alone for creating these figures, so making this little panda was a really enjoyable and relaxing experience for me. I also got hold of some air-drying resin, which works much better for me because of my allergies. I’d recommend letting the piece dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours before applying the resin; this will make the piece more durable, washable and hard-wearing.
Here’s my step-by-step guide.

Tomo una porción de foami flexible blanco y amaso una pelotita, luego aplano un poco con ayuda de una tapa y en el cetro - inferior hago presión con el dedo pulgar para dejar la huella.
Tomo una porción de foami flexible rosado y hago una bolita, coloco la bolita en la mes ay sobre este un trozo de film para que al colocar la forma de corte corazón deje los bordes redondeados y una textura agradable al tacto.
Coloco un punto de pegamento y el corazón ya cortado en el cuerpo del panda, específicamente en la hendidura.

I take a piece of white flexible foam and roll it into a small ball, then flatten it slightly using a lid, and press down with my thumb at the bottom to leave an indentation.
I take a piece of pink flexible foam and roll it into a small ball; I place the ball on the table and cover it with a piece of cling film so that when I place the heart-shaped cutter on top, it leaves rounded edges and a texture that’s pleasant to the touch.
I apply a dot of glue and stick the cut-out heart onto the panda’s body, specifically in the indentation.

Moldeo 4 bolitas de foami color negro que corresponden a las patitas y dos más pequeñas que corresponden a los ojos.
Aplico pegamento y presiono un poco cada pieza para aplanar, pegando en cada lugar correspondiente.
Moldeo la pieza de la nariz y los ojos, para pegarlos en el lugar correspondiente.
Las orejas son piezas semitriangulares luego de pegarlas en el cuerpo del panda, con ayuda de las herramientas para moldear con punta redonda, hago los detalles de hendidura de las orejas y patitas.
Aplico pegamento en el gancho para colgar y lo introduzco en la pieza en la parte superior.
Dejar secar la pieza.

I shape four small black foam balls for the paws and two smaller ones for the eyes.
I apply glue and press down lightly on each piece to flatten it, sticking them in their respective places.
I shape the nose and eyes, then stick them in their respective places.
The ears are semi-triangular pieces. After sticking them onto the panda’s body, I use the round-tipped modelling tools to create the details of the creases on the ears and paws.
I apply glue to the hanging hook and insert it into the piece at the top.
Leave the piece to dry.

Para hacer el llavero, se trata de una tira de cordón piel de serpiente, se quema en las puntas con ayuda de un yesquero, luego se le coloca un caimán para unir ambas puntas, luego se le coloca un aro y seguido un abridor caimán.
Luego de terminar el llavero lo colocamos en el panda en el sujetador que habíamos colocado anteriormente.

To make the key ring, take a strip of snakeskin cord; singe the ends using a lighter, then attach a caiman clasp to join the two ends together, followed by a ring and then another caiman clasp.
Once the keyring is finished, we attach it to the panda using the fastener we had fitted earlier.
