Caminando por mis lugares favoritos encontré algo nuevo.
Han colocado una linda casita y acondicionaron la caminaría con grama artificial y una estancia que invita verdaderamente a sentarse y leer un libro.
Miré a los alrededores no vi a nadie cerca más que un señor descansando luego de hacer deporte. Quería saber más de el espacio público sin embargo no hubo respuesta más que un silencio de biblioteca...
Pero esta no es una biblioteca común, es una biblioteca al aire libre, con los árboles como techo y los murmullos son de las aves...
Este hermoso lugar está en la Caminería Las Delicias o Paseo de las Artes, cerca de la redoma El Toro - Maracay.

How’s it going?
Whilst walking around my favourite spots, I came across something new.
They’ve put up a lovely little house and laid the path with artificial grass, creating a space that really invites you to sit down and read a book.
I looked around but didn’t see anyone nearby apart from a man resting after doing some exercise. I wanted to find out more about this public space, but there was no response other than a library-like silence…
But this isn’t an ordinary library; it’s an open-air library, with the trees as its roof and the murmurings of the birds…
This beautiful spot is on the Caminería Las Delicias or Paseo de las Artes, near the El Toro – Maracay roundabout.

Los banderines dicen: Luisa Teresa Lanz, Biblioteca al aire libre.
Puedo intuir que la intención es fomentar la lectura y el intercambio, hay otro mensaje que dicen los banderines: "Dona un libro" es decir si vas a tomar un libro para llevártelo debes dejar otro en su lugar, a menos que quieras leerlo sentado cómodamente en la grama artificial o las sillas.
Fue increíble ver esto, evocaron en mí sentimientos muy bonitos, soy de las personas que ama los libros.

The bunting reads: Luisa Teresa Lanz, Open-air Library.
I can sense that the aim is to encourage reading and sharing; there’s another message on the bunting: ‘Donate a book’ – in other words, if you take a book to read, you must leave another in its place, unless you’d rather read it whilst sitting comfortably on the artificial grass or in the chairs.
It was amazing to see this; it stirred up some lovely feelings in me – I’m one of those people who loves books.

No sé si antes tenía más libros, sin embargo dentro puedo ver que hay tres ejemplares para leer, si no hubiera estado tan apurada ese día me siento a disfrutar por entero del momento pero prometo que la próxima vez, llevaré un libro para donar y me sentaré a leer alguno de los que encuentre.

La verdad que este paseo de arte ha estado bien pensando y cada espacio se está aprovechando de manera espectacular, no solo vemos arte de todo tipo y deporte ya sea calistenia o caminar, trotar, correr, sino que también podemos sentarnos a leer un libro y pasar un momento super agradable.

I don’t know if there used to be more books there, but I can see there are three copies to read inside. If I hadn’t been in such a rush that day, I would have sat down to enjoy the moment to the full, but I promise that next time, I’ll bring a book to donate and sit down to read one of the ones I find.

To be honest, this art walk has been really well thought out and every space is being put to spectacular use. Not only do we see all kinds of art and sport – whether it’s calisthenics, walking, jogging or running – but we can also sit down to read a book and have a really lovely time.
