Greetings my beloved ones, although this song is from 1989, belonging to the great repertoire of the good music of the 80's is still an icon and a standard in the defense of the rights of the LGBT community of which I am very, very much a fan.

It's Friday and as my previous weeks I am used to bring you a happy song or full of morals, any of them that has a message and whose lyrics have a positive meaning to give, in addition to this, dating from the 70's, 80's 90's, one or another of the 2000's including some songs that I love from the 40's, whenever I can and God allows me, I will share religiously for us to spend a pleasant time, fun and immersed in the retro party that I intend to put together every Friday here in our Hive.
I know that all of us, and again I include myself, have sadness, sorrows, maybe we are not having a good time, we are sad, we are suffering from some illness or we do not feel well, I want to invite you, forget about all that for a moment and share with me, because you are not alone in this world, We are many going through your situation perhaps, maybe your situation can become even stronger but I want you to know that there is a God called Jehovah, who is superior to your problems, and there is a Christ who also loves you as his father and accepts you with all the defects that you have. Forget your sorrows for a moment and sing with me, dance with me and enjoy life for a while with me singing this hymn for all those who in the past and at present have suffered or suffer from contempt for their parents who still cannot accept them as they are.
God the father blessed me with two beautiful boys and I always thought that suddenly they would have these qualities, I would of course be the first to support them, I love them as they are and as they will be, they are part of me and sometimes I cannot conceive how it can happen that a parent would reject a son or daughter for this.
I grew up in the middle of the LGTB community because since I was eight years old I have been in the artistic world, I lived very closely the sadness of many friends because of this issue, some of them decided to end their lives and it is too unfair, because they were wonderful people, talented and full of so much love. I hate to be near someone who suffers from homophobia and who refers badly to them, but at the same time I feel very sorry and ashamed for their narrow-mindedness. I thank God himself because he has allowed us to be more accepted and have more opportunity than in the past, as well as the ability to decide on our own what we want to be without pressure from society. These are sensitive issues that many people still can not digest or accept, they can generate controversy, but equally I will always receive everyone with love and respect, if you do not agree, here we only come to fill us with love and good vibes, therefore, if you do not like it, there is an X where you can close the page and that's it.
To all my friends of the LGTB community that are so many, I want you to know that I love you, that I am proud of each one of you, that I admire you, that I love and loved every minute that I share with you all and that I learned so many things, keep your humility and your beautiful and human way of being. My respects.
Simon, is a trans woman, the story in the song tells that he went abroad to feel freer and continue with his transition, his father, a narrow-minded person and with a very rigid education forced him to be what he dictated to study and dedicate himself to the same as him, however, Simon to travel and with that freedom took a different path, years later his father decides to travel to visit him without warning, to his surprise he finds a woman who greets him but his father does not recognize him, to which Simon answers "Don't you know me? I am Simon and ironically he continues saying: I am your son, the great man. This is because his father told him since he was a child that he had to be macho like him.
His father is astonished, when he sees him he rejects him and denies that he is his son, he goes back and leaves him abandoned, both continue with their lives, imagine perhaps the pain that each one carried on his shoulders.
Years later Andres - His father regrets having abandoned and rejected him and decides to return to look for him, he forgives himself and thus accepts his son, but it was too late, because when he arrives he finds that his son had died of HIV, a disease that in those days was not only a taboo but also a new and very strange disease.

No me conoces?
