My fixation for the music and artists of the 80's is very noticeable, I love to bring these things here and remember yesterday. A very beautiful time in every aspect, years go by and it seems that we are missing more and more those times, something is missing in the present in terms of art, many of us are wondering what happened to us along the way? and how long has it been since we stopped producing good music with good lyrics? and where is the originality? Many artists have resorted to recycle musical themes for the new generations and these end up scrutinizing where they come from and end up being fans of yesterday's music. Every day we see more and more young people listening to old music than I do, responding to the great slogan that they are music "of yesterday, today and always".

When I listen to tasteless music, with grotesque and even degrading lyrics, I can only ask to be sent on a bus back to the eighties. Sadly the new generation is missing out on so much. Some call it updating, I call it "Talent" while the industries call it "fashion" and only produce what sells, which fills me with questions like: if the music of the 80's is just as popular now in terms of rhythms and lyrics, isn't it still selling? The answer is simple, the media is pushing through our eyes and ears everything they want to sell and it's nothing more than sex. Where did the romance go?

In relation to my interpretation today, it belongs to the multifaceted artist Kiara, who along with other singers of the 80's made us dream, vibrate, fall in love, break our hearts and explode clubs, mini clubs, parties crowded with people sharing a common: The love of music, music connected us. In this era, for Venezuelan artists and singers was the best of all, the support they received in every aspect was impressive, many of them went international, in the case of Kiara, I don't know what happened at the end of the 90's, she stopped receiving support from the record companies, they became extinct, it is said that much had to do with the economic and political situation of the country at that time. Some of them have re-released their old hits, but one or another new song, it is worth the redundancy, has not had the same success.

This piece, in my perception, has a story to tell, it speaks of lost love, of that person who stayed loving another, it is assumed that one of the two abandoned the other, in this case I think that she herself although she was left alone, is the person who loved and made her feel like no other, so much so that she did not want to be with anyone else.

Mi fijación por la música y los artistas de la década de los 80's es muy notable, me encanta traer estas cosas aquí y recordemos del ayer. Una época muy bonita en todo aspecto, años pasan y parece que cada vez vamos extrañando  más esos tiempos, algo nos está faltando en el presente en cuanto a lo artístico, muchos coincidimos preguntándonos ¿Qué nos sucedió en el camino? y ¿Desde hace cuanto tiempo se ha dejado de producir buena música con buena letra? además de ¿Donde ha quedado la originalidad? Pues muchos artistas han recurrido en reciclar temas musicales para las nuevas generaciones y estas terminan escudriñando de dónde provienen y terminan siendo fans de la música del ayer. Cada día vemos más y más jóvenes escuchando música antigua que la doy, respondiendo al gran slogan que son músicas "del ayer, de hoy y siempre"

Cuando escucho música de mal gusto, con letras grotescas y hasta degradantes, solo puedo pedir que me envíen en un Bus de regreso a los ochentas. Tristemente la nueva generación se está perdiendo de mucho. Algunos le llaman actualizarse, yo lo lamo "Talento" mientras que las industrias le llaman "moda" y solo producen lo que se vende, lo que me llena de interrogantes como: si la música de los 80's es igualmente sonada ahora en cuanto a ritmos y letras ¿No se sigue vendiendo? La respuesta es simple, los medios nos introducen por los ojos y oídos todo lo que pretenden vender y no es más que sexo. ¿Donde fue a parar el romance?

En relación a mi interpretación de hoy, pertenece a la artista polifacética Kiara, que junto con otros cantantes de la época de los 80's nos hacían soñar, vibrar, enamorarnos, rompernos el corazón y explotar clubs, minitecas, fiestas abarrotadas de personas compartiendo un fin común: El amor a la música, la música nos conectaba. En esta época, para los artistas y cantantes venezolanos fue la mejor de todas, el apoyo que recibían en todo aspecto era impresionante, muchos de ellos se internacionalizaron, para el caso de Kiara, no se qué sucedió a final de los 90's, dejó de recibir apoyo de las disqueras, las mismas se extinguieron, se dice que mucho tenía que ver con la situación económica y política del país en ese momento. Algunos de ellos han relanzado sus éxitos antiguos pero uno que otro tema nuevo, valga la redundancia, no ha tenido el mismo éxito.

Esta pieza en mi percepción, tiene una historia qué contar, habla del amor perdido, de esa persona que se quedó amando a otra, se supone que una de las dos abandonó a la otra, en este caso pienso que ella misma aunque se quedó sola, es la persona que amó y le hizo sentir como ninguna, tanto como para no querer estar con nadie más.
