I'm going to try to buy | think it's a good value in terms of location, price and space. (And boy, does my life need improving.) Were you planning on writing a letter with your gift to clarify that the money is a gift? I was told by my r.e. agent that such a letter will eliminate the Board's questioning whether the recent increase in my account represents a loan. If it's a gift it doesn't diminish my debt/income ratio or some such nonsense. This is supposed to be a tough board and they're looking for 2 - 3 years of after purchase liquidity to guarantee that the maintenanceii aid in case I lose my job or get sick.
