In the late afternoon we were the lucky beneficiaries of a sudden rain storm. It was like Christmas falling from the sky. It didn't stick around long, but it did bring some much needed water to our water system. I know my plants prefer rain water to the well water they get during the dry days of summer. So this was a bonus for all.
