When I was a kid I never understood the advice to drink a ginger ale to settle your stomach. It was so sweet that it made my stomach ache worse. So when I heard about ginger beer, I was skeptical that it would taste good. I was totally wrong.

Now my first foray into ginger beer did have to do with being introduced to a Moscow Mule. Very tasty. But, I found out that ginger beer on its own is rather tasty. Interestingly enough the different brands of ginger beer have widely varying tastes. My favorite is what is considered the original, Cock and Bull.
