Some of you out there may think that this article here of mine is strictly for laughs, but I am serious about this topic. In my previous article, I showed a situation in which cops were closing in on this one 19-year-old gentleman merely for having had a harmless consensual sexual relation with a 14-year-old girl. They treated him as though he were some kind of serial child rapist, when reality has it that what he did was nothing more than teenage sex; and the 14-year-old girl was not new to it either in that she had other sex partners in the past. That is, he did not steal her innocence, because she didn't have it in the first place before meeting him.

Well, if the law allowed for each juror to bring in the following device in the video below with them to the jury box whenever they decided to acquit a defendant in a frivolous and malicious statutory-rape case like the one described above, then perhaps fewer men who find themselves in the same situation as the one described above would plead guilty than those who do so now. Watch the video below.

Allison Preston Gives A Demonstration Of The No! Button

Whenever a jury acquitted a defendant in a frivolous and malicious statutory-rape case, they could each use The No! Button to vote the defendant as being not guilty. They could each push that NO! button and face each one of these devices at the arresting officers and the prosecutor in a way that will get them angry. I don't know if it would make more defendants in these cases plead "Not Guilty," but it would certainly get the courtroom's full undivided attention.

It might even put a smile on the judge's face. After so many frivolous and malicious statutory-rape trials got dismissed, perhaps prosecutors and police officers would stop wasting our tax money on these fishing expeditions and witch hunts every time they got wind of some middle-school or high-school girl sneaking out of her bedroom window to spend time with her collegiate boyfriend.

It would be like saying NO to incarceration, NO to sex-offender registration, and NO to Big Brother. Instead of sabotaging our freedoms, these court officials and law-enforcement officials are supposed to be protecting them.

I'm not trying to encourage teenagers and pre-teenagers to have sex before they're legally old enough to vote in a presidential election; but I feel that if idiots like Chris Hansen get to be funny in their online sex-sting operations, then juries that see right through the arresting officers and prosecutors' self-serving intentions should be able to engage in similar satire.

Perhaps Dick Wolf could run an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in which a jury uses these devices to annoy the arresting officers and the prosecutor after they haul a young adult man into court for sharing intimacy with his girlfriend who may happen to be only one or two years shy of the statutory age of consent in New York. It would certainly shed a new light on our nation's criminal justice system, because through the years it certainly has become a major joke.

If you're like me, then you're probably sick and tired of frivolous and malicious statutory-rape cases flooding the court dockets here in the United States. On the other hand, you may be one of those parents that don't want your 13-, 14-, or even 15-year-old daughter hanging around on college campuses in search of love and romance; and that is understandable, because that is the world that you grew up in and the world that indoctrinated you.

Nevertheless, reality has it that young men don't grow light switches on their bodies once they get to be 18 or 19 years old that they can flip off to shut down their inclinations to find a teenage middle-school or high-school girl attractive. The physical attraction toward girls that age stays with them for a long time. Sometimes it never goes away; and if that is the case, it doesn't make them evil or psychiatrically deranged. It definitely does not make them pedophiles either.

A society like ours here in the United States simply cannot take a step into our future without questioning norms and conventions that have been with us beyond a point in which they have outlived their original purposes. Moral panics do not mature a society. Moral panics only hold a society back. Therefore, we need to challenge these moral panics and put a stop to them when they cause more harm than good.

Join me in my mission. I'm your Spaceship Captain reporting to you.馃槂
