Well, whenever discussing the topic of pedophilia, I always adhere to how the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition ("DSM-5") defines it, because I don't want to fall into the same predicament as Elon Musk. Someone sued him for accusing them of being a pedophile, based upon the premise that he took writer's license with the definition of the term in a shaming manner.
I'm on board with you when it comes to disciplining teachers for messing with their students or even touching them inappropriately. Back when I was 15 years old, I actually knew a P.E. teacher named Mr. Mililo who would stick his hands on young girls' private parts while he was supposed to be teaching them floor wrestling. I detested him, because he was always so obnoxious with me and other male students insofar as he would lift us up by our gym pants any time we did anything incorrectly in trying to wrestle.
I would never have gone as far as calling him a pedophile, because technically he wasn't one inasmuch as these young girls were not pre-pubescent children. However, if he had gotten fired for what he did, I would felt that he had deserved it.
