Exactly. AI is unreliable for the purposes of translation or interpretation. For example, it doesn't translate colloquialisms and regionalisms accurately from one language to another. That is, if you attempt to translate "strawberry snowcone" from English to Spanish, Google Translate will not provide you with the different ways of saying it in Spanish in different nations. It will tell you that it is "granizado de fresa" in Spanish, but it won't tell you that it's "copo de fresa" in Costa Rican Spanish or "minuta de fresa" in Salvadorian Spanish or "piragua de fresa" in Puerto Rican Spanish.

It's the same with French and German. Google Translate won't be able to differentiate between certain French words that are only spoken in Quebec versus French words that are used strictly in France or Belgium. And even though people think that because the only two German-speaking nations appear to be Germany and Austria, they forget that German is also spoken in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, and in various parts of Africa; so there are bound to be variations in the way people say things in German in different parts of the globe.

Translation and interpretation always requires a human element no matter what. Using Google Translate to translate an article from one language to another to later publish it is a very big mistake.
