Okay. I realize that you and I live in two vastly different cultures. I live in the United States of America, and you live in Nigeria. However, here is my response to your article. In figurative words, instead of child advocates fighting to raise the statutory age of consent to 35 years old everywhere in the world, why don't they get lawmakers to outlaw and eliminate parental testamentary freedom instead? That is, I feel that if a father sexually molests his own daughter, he should have no right to cut her out of his will in retaliation for her reporting him to the authorities.
