I think the elephant in the room here, though, is that if an article only makes money for 7 days rather than for all eternity and a writer has to purchase digital currency from Blurt to get it posted, that writer is probably going to take their money over to the Medium writing platform where I believe their article is going to earn money indefinitely. I'm assuming that an article on Blurt only makes money for 7 days as it would on the Hive platform. I can almost be sure that anything that gets published on the Medium writing platform earns money indefinitely. In other words, because the Blurt writing platform is asking their writers to buy digital currency from them to post and vote on their writing platform, these writers may turn around and simply go over to the Medium writing platform. Moreover, like Blurt, the Medium writing platform doesn't practice censorship.
