Actually you don't even have to use the Notepad application in the editing process. I now copy the HTML codes and text directly from the Steemd copy of an article if I'm in Steemit or directly from the Hiveblocks copy of an article if I'm in Hive after I have deleted the defective data from the creation window of the article. Then I paste the HTML codes and text inside the creation window and make whatever desired modifications therein. However, in my article above, I recommend that people use the Notepad application as an added safeguard so that they do not accidentally lose all their data while editing their articles either on Steemit or here on Hive.
