Hello everyone,
I am Dr. Ivy Donkor, a recent graduate Optometrist from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a member of the Hive Ghana Medical Team, a health advocate, and a lover of gospel music.
It is such a pleasure to have finally made it to the platform before I go on to share more about myself and my experience with Hive which drove me to come on board, let me say a big thank you to and
for the wonderful opportunity to have been a member of the health team on two different occasions to render my services to communities that were in need.
My experience with Hive Ghana even before I finally decided to come on board has been amazing so far, I have witnessed a borehole launch and a fully funded community outreach program for which I marveled at the goodness and the smiles Hive is spreading on the face of the indigenous Ghanaian. I couldn't help but want to know more and do more for others.
And so I am here to learn and to be mentored, to serve where and when needed, and to contribute where I can to the good of this ecosystem. I do not have much of a hobby aside the watching movies, i love Nigerian movies a lot as well as Ghanaian movies but above all I think my favorite genre is love, whether it comes to music, movies, or novels although I do not read much.
I am with Assemblies of God Ministries and I am currently situated in Accra where I am doing my national service with Ridge Hospital. The journey so far has been thrilling but not necessarily easy, I am hopeful of a wonderful end though as I always look for the silver lining to every situation and the light at the end of every tunnel.
I do hope that I am welcomed and I get to be guided even as I navigate the ecosystem. As to what I may be sharing in the days ahead, I guess I would have to find my way around first and see where I can fit in. Nonetheless, it is truly a pleasure to be here, and thanks for having me.
