There has long been a discussion about how new investors also should be eligeble for airdrops on the EOS Mainnet. As it is now, only Genesis accounts (accounts that were registered and moved from the Ethereum network) receives airdrops.
Airdrops is a powerful tool which makes it possible for developers to distribute tokens to further decentralize their dapps as well as to notify EOS holders and possible users of a pending dAPP launch. It will get people involved.
EOS New York is now however offering a tool called EOSSnapshots.io that provides daily snapshots of every account and corresponding token balance on the EOS Mainnet.
This means dAPPS is able to airdrop to new investors as well, and this will of course drive more people to invest in EOS as it will pay you passive income for the rest of your life.
