it's a pleasure to once again time to post in my favorite contest- shadow hunters. we are up to the 434th week which is quite n accomplishment thanks to the dedicated shadow hunters team.
sometimes i specifically go out looking for shadows or even creating them myself but most often i just keep an eye out for shdows where ever i go. this post is one of those times. my wife had some errands to do in town, Shiroda in southern Maharashtra, India so i had time to wander around by myself. inevitably i stopped by the Mauli temple, which is the main temple in town. we have been inside many times but there is a tower in front of the temple that i had never closely examined. i discovered that it was open to go inside and up the stairs to the top. so of course i was interested. the tower isn't exceptionally tall but the stone stairs were steep, narrow, in need of some maintenance and made for people shorter than myself. but i ascended with care and managed to get to the top platform where i could step outside and walk around and take in the view from all directions.
since this is a shadow contest i am only posting views featuring shadows. at the time i was there the tower cast it's shadow on a building by the entrance in the temple complex. it appears that the metal sheet roof is covering an otherwise open roof terrace both for shade and protection from rain. i wasn't waving to anybody, i just raised my arm so my shadow could easily be distinguished from the shadow of the tower
