Guh, what an absolute horror story! Buyer beware has never applied to anything, ever, more than it does crypto. Vaporware is a concept gamers have to watch out for when following games, but crypto has so many other facets of "vapor" concepts that it can be hard to juggle all the important details.

As appealing as newer crypto can be, I've decided that I'll have strict limits if I ever wander down that route. Huge potential gains are just not worth setting money on fire when crazy stuff like this happens.
