Gracias.

Good morning avdesing@avdesing, first of all, thank you very much. You're absolutely right in everything you've said. I've also heard of bilateral stimulation under other names; I honestly don't know if they're still used (perhaps they are). I thought the text would be easier to understand if I used the English translation of the words these creators use to describe their music. I don't usually, nor do I want to, think ill of anyone, so I believe the use of the term EMDR is more of a YouTube problem than a problem with the creators themselves.

If YouTube put more effort into verifying the content uploaded to its platform than into censoring it, I'm sure the term EMDR would be used correctly, with its true meaning: an 8-phase therapy protocol. Since YouTube isn't fulfilling its supervisory role, I understand that to compete with the first person to use the acronym EMDR, other creators added the magic letters: EMDR.

What YouTube hasn't done is what it has done when presenting the channels. Users need to know that it's not therapy, or at least that it's not EMDR.

I have another post planned, but it would be about the channels I use now for sleeping and studying.

Big hug. Thank you.
