Faith without work is dead, but work that lacks love impoverishes man, even if he claims to have the greatest faith in the world.
The Word of God teaches:
May they do well, may they be rich in good deeds, generous (1 Timothy 6:18).
The people of God are commanded, first of all, to do good. Doing good must be above personal interests. Doing good is not making an exception for people. If you remember the parable of the good Samaritan, the only one who did good to the man who had been hurt by the thieves, was the good Samaritan. Those who claimed to be children and connoisseurs of God (Priest and Levite) acted selfishly. Friend reader, it is no use hitting your chest and saying that we are children of God, but we hate our neighbor.
God continues to demand that those born in Christ be rich in good works. We must stop arrogance and arrogance, to believe that we are the only children and heirs of God, but we lack love and good works.
The call is not only for those who are economically well-off, but for all the people of God. We cannot turn a blind eye, although there are many needs in the same people of God. It is time that we put into practice what Paul commanded Timothy with all the rich in this world:
May they do well, may they be rich in good deeds, generous and generous.
