You did not miss anything the first night. I spent over 6-8 hours sitting in the queue and dealing with crashes after I got into the game. While they did manage to get rid of the queue on the second day it seems they are already hinting it will be back.

At least the good news is you can start to re-download it now if you have not already. So you can be ready to go on Friday. We also get to play with more classes this weekend.
