I would not be shocked if some platform(s) are at least built on top of Hive one day for playing games.

I could have sworn someone wanted to make something like a GitHub on Hive. I can’t recall any other details at the moment.

At some point I might be exploring making a desktop game launcher for my game. With the idea if it works out to get other games to be added. That however is quite a faraway thought for the time being.

As far as directly downloading from I’m not quite sure. Something like this seems like it be more of a layer 2 solution. 3Speak for instance has been working on their own Desktop IPFS dDapp for video content.
