If you are into debt and you are willing to get out of it, the first thing you have to do is to understand how you got yourself into the mess in the first instance, strategically taking yourself back to reflect on the decisions you took to get yourself into the debt will help you know the exact problem you have. In order to detect this, you can take a scan through your bank statements and find out what exactly you used the money for.

Sometimes no matter how hard you try to delete debts from your life, you keep going back there as emergencies seem to be raising up their heads from time to time and before you know it you have to depend on credit card debt to help with the emergency, in order to eliminate this lifestyle it is safe to have an emergency fund, this fund should be kept in a private place and should be used only in cases of emergency this will prevent you from running back to your credit card in case of emergency.

Create a pattern to pay off your debt, I personally believe it is best to have a pattern to clear off the debt you owe this will guarantee that every money you have is yours. Learn how to cut your expenses to the the lowest level, this will provide more room to get your loans off your chest.

The fact that you have paid off your debt should not make you begin to live and spend in extravagant ways, it should instead make you begin to think of investment plans and how you can grow your funds. If you spend extravagantly because you have paid off your loans, you will soon run back to the path of debt again.

Look forward to saving, when you become financially stable begin to save up your money remember that there will always be something to spend money on so saving requires a deliberate decision and it will help keep your money until the time it is needed.
