We have experienced several critical floods here in Bangladesh early time. Most significant was 1988 and 1998. In 1988, I did not born but I have heard a lot of that year’s flood. I have experienced the flood of 1998 when I was 8 years old and there was knee height water inside our home. I have seen some prediction about the flood situation in Bangladesh, it saying the water level and flood situation may exceed the 1988’s flood. In 1988, almost whole country was affected with flood. I don’t know what will happen here if so. It’s a big challenge for us. Already 54 has been died and regularly 30/40 are dying with COVID-19. People are losing their shelter. Are we going to famine? I don’t know. Weather will say, what to do.
