Recently, @dcitygame allowed players to "customize" their cities. Each unique
background allows for variety in ways which players could display cities.
Depending on the background, there are different "zones" which you could place buildings. The number and type of buildings you could place depend on what you own. After tinkering with the new features for a bit, I came up with the following arrangements:
There are seven "platforms" in the Atlantis background. This allowed me to section off my city in the display. In fact, they might as well be "districts" within my city.
I put the universities, broadcast towers, and art galleries in this district. You could see them in the far distance.
The manufacturing area along with power plants and police stations. Some other government buildings are here as well.
Apartment buildings, hospitals, hotels, and whatnot.
The military industrial complexes, laboratories, and other sensitive buildings are here. What are they researching? We may never know.
I put farms here because I don't actually have a rural area planned. This is where more luxurious homes and buildings like law firms exist. As you may have noticed, there are two red platforms.
Your standard neighborhood with all the commodities and everything that is familiar.
Due to limitations of space and clarity of display, I couldn't put in everything. But, it's neat feature adds another dimension to the role-play element in the game.
What's to come? Well, I know animations backgrounds now exist in the game. Would not be a bad idea to increase that creativity score for a chance of that drop.
