As an important requirement both for the minister and for the one ministering should be the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
THE AREA TO MINISTER MORE IMPORTANT OF OUR INTEGRAL BEING IS THE SOUL THAT IS WHERE THE FEELINGS, THE WILL AND THE INTELLECT ARE FOUND. IT IS THE SEAT OF THE INDIVIDUAL'S PERSONALITY, and it is the place where the devil can deceive us in our senses (Gen. 3: 1-6 and 2 Cor 11: 3).
God begins in us a process of cleaning from the inside out. That is, from the spirit to the soul and then to the body. We can see the figure in the resurrection of Lazarus (John 11: 39-44) as Jesus does the impossible (resuscitate him) and delegates to his disciples what is possible: Unleash Lazarus from his hands (his works), from the feet (his walk), and to remove the shroud (untie his mind, cleanse his thoughts, his eyes, his smell, his speech, and his hearing), so that in this way what the Lord Jesus said: I will be fulfilled I will give life (eternal in his spirit) and life in abundance that is Canaan (in his soul).
Our soul is attacked in different ways and can fall into a process of degeneration whose purpose is to cause spiritual death if not properly ministered:
David said: Create in me a righteous spirit (Psalm 51:10), because I could have: 1. Bitterness (Gen. 26: 33-35)
The ministry is a life-long process through which our spirit and soul are renewed (made again). In such a way that the laws of our members are being abolished and we are being free in our integral being.
