One of my father‘s favorite sayings was "procrastination is the lazy man’s apology". I also learned growing up that procrastination is the thief of time.
Responsibility is a major key required to unlock the doors of greatness. Responsibility is a proof of seriousness towards life. People continue to fail not for the want of ability but for the lack of responsibility. Promptly responding to the demands and tasks required to facilitates productivity in your life is a major sign of good health.
You don’t get paid for possessing ability. You get paid for productivity. There are too many people with great ability who have ended up as colossal failures.
Promptness is required if you must maximize your every season and progress seamlessly into your future. Every season comes with demands. Life is often complex and difficult to those who prefer to do tomorrow what they should do today. A responsibility moved to a future time is often harder to undertake. Life is difficult for many because they move a lot of yesterday’s work load into today.
Laziness is a ravaging beast that must be strangulated mercilessly. It undermines your worth, and masks you with a failure-identity. You will never realize the power and fruit of your potential until you assassinate this enemy.
Laziness puts you perpetually in doubt before those who should serves as doors of great opportunity in your life. You cannot afford to do what you want to do when you feel like. You should do what is required of you as at when due. A person’s value often will go unnoticed because they do not respond promptly to the moments when action is needed.
There are people who have sat idle for such a long time that they probably now have grasses growing on their buttocks! Get up!
If you always need to convince people that you are not lazy then that might be a clue that you are. Diligence speaks for itself.
Responsibility acts promptly, and in sync with the demands; laziness depends on convenience. Without controversy, procrastination is the disguise for laziness.
