Agantty is a project planning tool which is really free (without having a paid plan in behind) and additionally open source. This means that you can get a fully working planning software for free and can use it directly.

So where is this project making money?
There are extensions which can be bought to add special functionalities but as mentioned, native functions are all free.
The software is good for small and midsize businesses but if you need a big project management solution you will have to look for a better suiting solution.
