Hello there, going back to my roots, I came across one hit song by Destiny Child, "Survivor". This song was released way back 2001. Listening to the song gives me this nostalgic feeling and it makes me miss childhood 馃槄.
My mom has been a great fan of Beyonce( Destiny Child) and Shakira. So, growing up, I was opportune to have early access to some of their songs, though I just listened and vibed to the beats then without understanding whatever that was sung.
Survivor is a song that portrays self-love, self-respect, and self-confidence, which are necessary for women to stand up for themselves and take control of their lives.
I can always trace my childhood memories back to this song.
