I have been ill for a week now (luckily just a normal flu and not corona). The one thing I actually have done this past week is playing The Sims 4.

Loading the game...

I have different kind of moods when I play:

  • Play the game and make my sim the best sim ever
  • I want to make the worst sim ever who everyone hates and are just annoying (I usually have a few of these sims)
  • I want to kill everyone (This is an obligatory thing to do if you are playing the Sims). Sims-online have actually made a death guide on "Different ways to kill your sim" 馃槀)
  • I only want to build.

I had the two last moods yesterday, but mostly the last one. Let's do a makeover of my cemetery!

I have played the sims since 2000. I have always built a cemetery in every game. I think it's a nice thing to have (Haha. Don't get me wrong here馃槄), because my sims don't have their tombstone in the garden or on their fireplace.

I chose to set the lot to a cafe. It must me nice to meet people (dead or alive) with something nice to eat and drink. It's important to make the best of it馃檭

Cemetery makeover:

My boring cemetery started like this. I built it in no time, and had no real plan. I'm not good at building houses, and especially when I'm not in the mood. Except for yesterday.

I chose to not use the cheat code bb.moveobjects that much on this lot.

Before :

The front of my (boring) church. It's easy to see I haven't given the place much love.

Back of the building isn't any better :/

After:

I got inspired of other buildings in the sims and other churches. The building is placed in Glimmerbrook (Realm of Magic).

The front of my church became much better, and it looks more like a church

Back of the building. If I was making a new cemetery, I would have chosen a bigger lot, because I think my church was a little bit short in the back

A closer view

Right side of the building, where I got half of the tombstones. I also let my sim plant different kind of flowers by the tombstones, so it looks a little more like a graveyard

Left side of the church. I placed some more tombstones. And as you can see in the back, I made a little place for dead animals

Inside of my church it's a cafe. It's nice to drink or eat something with the dead people or the alive ones. I'm trying to get better to make the inside of my buildings prettier, but it's going kind of slow

What do you think? 馃槂

I just started to add a little more of my favorite buildings in the gallery too, and you can download this building if you want to.

Follow EMMALOE if you want to see my future buildings and my sims families in The Sims Gallery!

I would love to follow you too, drop your game name in the comment section!

Stay tuned for more game adventures! 馃
