I can relate to the first picture way too much. Haha😂
I always have to try and fail a few times for my plants inside. I only have green plants inside too, just because they live longer and need a little less care.
I struggled for a long time with my plants (flowers, herbs and veggies), until I figured these things out:
- When you are buying plants, ALWAYS plant them in bigger pots because their roots need space to grow. More space for the roots = bigger and healthier plants. This is often the main reason why plants wont grow as big as expected 😁
- I always mix my soil with leca because it makes the soil breath better.
- Always have some fertilizer near by, but have in mind that too much fertilizer can make the leafs grow wild and not giving the flowers/veggies so much space to grow, and in worst case the flowers wont grow. There are different kinds for every plant.
- Always water your outside plants after the sun goes down. They can actually get sunburnt! haha😅
- I always had a problem with fruit flies for my inside plants, but after I started to only water them underneath (water the roots), I haven't seen one flie since! But my roses had the opposite problem. They need a lot of water, but I forgot them once and they got an infection cause of the dry soil 😒
Hope there is SOME help in this. And good luck with your little garden 😃💛 I would love an update on it
