Hola amigos de Hive, espero que se encuentren muy bien, paso por acá para compartirles un tema de una de mis bandas Favoritas "Stone temple pilots" del Albúm Core del 92, llamado DEAD & BLOATED y como caracteristico del estilo Grunge, siempre rozando y expresando dolor o angustia en sus letras

Hello Hive friends, I hope you are all doing very well. I'm stopping by to share a song from one of my favorite bands, Stone Temple Pilots, from the 1992 album Core. The song is called DEAD & BLOATED, and as is characteristic of the Grunge style, it is always touching on and expressing pain or anguish in its lyrics.

Cuando estaba más joven, escuchaba el disco y como soy de la vieja escuela, me gusta escuchar todo el album en orden, me choca la moda de una play list con canciones variadas, no se si ustedes son como yo 😂 pero si mal no recuerdo que este es el tema 1 del album y esa voz al inicio, pensaba que expresaba algo diferente, como una lucha por algo que alcanzar y superar, pero como no tenía idea de ingles, estaba muy lejos de lo que significaba y me quedé impresionado🤯

When I was younger, I used to listen to the record, and since I'm 'old school,' I enjoy listening to the whole album in order. I'm actually not a fan of the trend of mixed playlists—I don't know if you guys are like me! 😂. If I remember correctly, this is track #1 on the album. Hearing that voice at the start, I used to think it expressed something different, like a struggle to achieve and overcome something. However, since I didn't know any English back then, I was very far off from the actual meaning, and I was blown away when I found out 🤯

La letra es una expresión de Scot el vocalista de STP, sobre sentirse abrumado por las presiones externas y casi gritando estar muerto por dentro, como Muerto e Inchado, quizas es otra expresión de dolor caracteristico del Grunge, igual tenía la capacidad de expresar dolor de una forma extraordinaria con su voz, hasta sus ultimos días luego con Velvet Revolver, les comparto la letra y saquen sus conclusiones, espero que les guste.

The lyrics are an expression from Scott, STP's vocalist, about feeling overwhelmed by external pressures and practically screaming that he is dead inside—literally 'Dead & Bloated.' Perhaps this is just another expression of pain characteristic of Grunge. regardless, he had the capacity to express pain in an extraordinary way with his voice, right up until his last days, even later on with Velvet Revolver.
