‎Every human indulge some kind of fantasy sometimes, a phenomenon that occurs when our reality is too much to handle, somehow we start wishing for something impossible to save us from our present situation. This is something I have experienced numerous times, so I know better. One of such fantasy is wishing for a superpower, there are all kinds of superpower that would be cool to have.
‎
‎In relation to this prompt, if I were to imagine being invisible for just 24hrs what would I do? it definitely sounds cool, all sort of heroic imagination started forming in mind. Thoughts like, I would dive into the forest and deal with bandits, since they wouldn't see me coming, handling them shouldn't be difficult. Rescue people held captive by kidnappers, sneak into their hideout and sneak out with no one ever knowing I was there.
‎
‎What about dealing with corrupt politicians, those creatures make my blood boil. I know trying to bring them to justice is impossible, those beings control the justice system. Our justice system is just as rotten as those politicians, trying to arrest them wouldn't do me any good but at least being invisible might probably grant the privilege of recording some of them while they are doing what they know how to do best. At least, if our justice system can't handle them, the citizens deserves to know.
‎
‎While I was thinking about all this, then it occurred to me, all I have is just 24hrs, what if I was busy dealing with one of those bad guys and suddenly the timer runs out? But that is not the biggest of my worries, you see when most people hear about being invisible, they suddenly forget to ask about the specifics. The fact that people can't see you doesn't mean you are indestructible.
‎
‎I'm a fan of superheroes movies and when it comes to having superpowers, the specifics means a lot. Knowing the limit of my capabilities will be my greatest strength. Being invisible doesn't mean that I'm humane to penetration. What if those bandits started firing bullets, I'm invisible doesn't mean I can dodge bullets or run faster than bullets or fly when being chased or humane to dog bite or animal attack. Which means if I find myself in a difficult situation I can get hurt or get my self killed because all I'm is Mr invisible, nothing else.
‎
‎Which means I'm just as vulnerable as I was when I was visible. In fact, I'm more at risk, imagine trying to get something, no one would see me coming, including cars and bikes. Anyone could knock me off the tracks without knowing they hit something, what will be the fun in that? It means I have to look over my shoulder 24/7 because anything can happen to me at any point. Imagine getting hurt without being able to ask for help because no one can see me, that would be a nightmare.
