We have different kinds of food, and each of them performs one or more functions in the body. Medically, it is advised that we consume a meal that contains all the classes of food in the right proportion to avoid missing out on some nutrients.
Nevertheless, we are beings with tastes and different cravings. There are times we don't like certain kinds of food, even if they are the best for us.
Each of us has what we like best, even on dieting and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, but we must also be wise to avoid focusing so much on one kind of food due to the reality that it has tendencies of posing threats to our health when it becomes too much.
Well, when it comes to favorite food, I don't really think I have a particular kind of food that I prefer above all others.
I consume just anything that is properly prepared. Though I have respect for bean porridge, I don't know if it's because of the way my mom prepares it that made it win a spot in my heart or not.
You can keep all foods away from me, but don't take the bean porridge away. It is something I don't mind eating every day, provided there are a lot of vegetables in it.
Beans are categorized as a source of protein. And it's very important to the body. Even though it performs a very vital role in body building, too much consumption of it also has a side effect.
This is why doing everything properly, prioritizing our well-being, is paramount. Some people don't pay attention to this but follow their desires and cravings only to end up wth terrible diseases at the end of the day.
Eat what you love but eat it with sense, ensure there is balance so that while you are satisfying your desires, your health will not suffer subsequently.
