They only talk based on the information they were able to gather. There is no place I am more careful about getting information than the Internet; because of the incentives one can get from it, people can go to great lengths to access that privilege, even if it means lying or misleading people.
This is why it is important to meet professionals rather than believing someone you see on the Internet. Of course, influencers can be right too, but it's safer to meet someone with a realistic experience in the field.
