So, I made this last night after flipping through an old sketchbook of mine. I seen a mermaid I had drawn two years ago, and I wondered how much I've improved since then.

Do you think I've improved? I think I am better at drawing anatomy correctly, my arms look much less awkward now. I don't believe you can improve as an artist without constructive criticism. Here's the process of making my new mermaid drawing.
First I draw most everything in pencil. Then I trace over with pen and erase the pencil.
After I have all the line work I add detail, color, and shade.
My two favorite fish in the picture are the parrot and loin fish.
Do you think I've improved ?
