It is funny how I find it difficult to effectively plan and lay out a functional strategy and run with it consistently over a period of time, yet I am entirely capable of being anxious and worrying about a future I have not seen over and over again. This applies to most of us, and the bigger the responsibility the bigger likelihood of being stuck in a permanent anxiety loop.
Yet it doesn't have to be so. Anxiety stays at the back of our minds but it doesn't have to come to the fore, or interfere with our daily functions. The most worrying for me is when the same anxiety affects our health over time. It is a potential dangerous loop that leaves little in the way of benefits to the carrier especially when it becomes crippling.
That's not to say worry is completely useless. It is worrying about my finances for instance that has compelled me to take action by being aggressive with my personal savings and investment planning. Sometimes we have genuine fears and worry does create the much needed paranoia that compels action. It let's us appreciate the importance of an event so we can take appropriate action.
The key to starving Anxiety is with due acknowledgement, action and Faith. I know that anxiety stems from genuine concerns and I address it with action, or at least that's how it should work. Faith matters to me (and most people) even for those that aren't religious. What's life without a little believe that things will ultimately get better.
