Hello, first of all thank you for your interest in my little baby and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Regarding your question:
As time goes on, less PWR will come into circulation by proxy from Hive Power.
As this happens, the project continues to accumulate Hive power non-stop.
Given enough time, a ''switch'' will occur in which more HIVE will be obtained compared to the 'printed' PWR.
The idea is for this to happen slowly but sustainably, keeping the PWR price close to 1:1 HIVE in the meantime, offering users a pool pegged to HIVE in which they earn an APR while their coins remain liquid.
**Note that this will happen over the long term (I'm targeting 2 - 4 years, although multiple things can happen along the way that could distort the numbers).
At this point, and I'm still unclear about the best way to implement it... would be to do the following:
PWR will be stakeable and will start paying an APR in HIVE based on the amount of HIVE left over after holding the peg. This APR will depend on the amount of HIVE held by the project, so it could happen that the APR in HIVE will be relatively high compared to the base price.
The project will use all or part of its surplus Hive to accumulate PWR from the pool and further stabilise the price (this is already working and you can check the numbers in the monthly reports).
I don't want to comment much more, because as I said, I'm still not sure about the best way to implement it given that I still have a lot of number crunching to do (something I will decide as I go along).
For now #1 priority is accumulating as much Hive Power as humanly possible on @vventures and eventually increase the deep of the pool with POL ('Project Owned Liquidity').
LP rewards is just a bonus for now which will be reduced over time.
As I said multiple times to multiple users, if you don't want to stress about future scenarios, just delegate and sell the rewards (at 0.9 PWR/HIVE) it's a 'realistic' 13-14% APR) for your HP without the hassle of curating.
Niche for the project has always been to offer an alternative to Hive investors who want passive income without the hassle of managing Hive power (although the foundation is still being built).
Cheers!
