Good morning from my side again :)
I'm not sure, (maybe I'm mistaken), but I get the feeling you're missing an important detail. All HIVE and PWRs in pool are 'available liquidity' and you're not counting on that
In case you may not know, let me explain briefly:
This is the total depht of the pool. In that case, there's the equivalent of 11800 HIVE (5854 HIVE + 5980 PWR).
In Hive Engine we have 2 prices. The price of the pool and the price of the orderbook. if there's no pool then it's irrelevant and only the orderbook price will be considered (which is the default). From the snapshot you posted above, you're only considering the orderbook price (where there's no liquidity as you pointed out, because everything is into the pool).
these are the 'orderbook prices' (bid and ask).
There's 'a lot' of liquidity to satisfy the need of most of delegators for a while.
Taking your particular case for example.
You're receiving 2,74 PWR daily from a 5000 HP delegation, which accounts for a 20% APR.
If you wait for a full month for the rewards to accumulate, you'll end up with ~82,2 PWR after 30 days.
if you go now to the swap option on beeswap you can trade your PWR for SWAP.HIVE (https://beeswap.dcity.io/swap?input=SWAP.HIVE&output=PWR) :
As you can see (with all the numbers remaining equal), you could theoretically trade your full bag of PWR of 82 tokens for approx 79 HIVE after 30 days (with a 1,87% slippage on current prices), which would net at ~18,9% APR. How is that 'not real'?
We don't need a 'buy wall' on the regular orderbook for the peg to work as intended.
Hope you understand my point, If not, please let me know and I'll try harder :)
Thank you for investing your time in your response. A little "give and take," if conducted civilly and respectfully (as is the case here), is always welcome and much appreciated ...
As it should be, thanks to you
