I'm also loving that question. Let me give you a fat upvote.
Not 'only' but 'mainly' yes.
I won't advise buying the best coin ever (fundamentally speaking) if that one pulled a +300% in 3 days (just to name a degen percentage). I'm more a 'average in/out' guy.
Let's say that you want to invest 10K$ into Bitcoin.
Would you pull all at once now at 40K$ after a +100% in a single month? This could anyway pay off, but you have high probabilities of not resting well enough at night.
Try this instead:
-Market buy 5K$ (to get rid of FOMO, if there's any).
-Buy 1K$ weekly for 5 weeks (to average your buying price in case it drops violently after your purchase, imagine it as having 'remaining bullets in the gun' after the initial shot of 5K$).
-Add 100$ weekly after that (to keep your commitment to your investment high & keep averaging).
This is how you build massive positions over time. And almost ALWAYS work better to buy in small chunks rather than all in/out. A 1K$ weekly for 10 weeks can work too. But you'll lose the opportunity of capitalizing in a big move like the current one.
As a general rule of thumb, take in mind that markets tend to 'trend the 20% of the time, while 'wasting' the remaining 80% going sideways.
If you want to get out (assuming that you don't believe in the project anymore, not valid of a black swan/hack happens) You can follow exactly the same strategy.
If you combine this with a good entry TA wise, you're almost set for 'guaranteed profits'.
Obviously, all of this required a high dose of patience, study, time, discipline... and why not, money.
I'll try to unveil more details from these projects fundamentally speaking, I'm sure you'll enjoy it :)
Regards!
