Well, I didn't want to create any 'drama' as I've been an avid HIVE supporter since the beginning (I powered down/up a few times as my economy allowed me to do it).

I would say 'fuck it, let's keep building and the results will come later' but in muy humble opinion we spent a LOT of time 'building' and still we remain unnoticeable (or almost).

Passed 9 months since the Hive 'genesis', and without any aim to disrespect the devs work regarding HF24, we're not getting behind? Somewhat I have a feeling of burden, too much shit for what is supposed to be a 'safe long term investment' (or at least this is what the 13-week power-up period suggests in my eyes).

Seeing successful models like LeoFinance makes me reconsider a lot of things. We can do it better? I'm 100% sure.

It makes me feel sick and fooled to see the @leofinance witness at the 35 spot.

While netuoso (leeched the DHF for months) and thecryptodrive (working on blurt now) are ahead (not going to tag them).

What about people like @gerber (dCity creator), @hextech (clever individuals with a lot of interesting ideas, yes @edicted, thinking about your HBD collateralized loans model), @fbslo (creator of the wrapped versions of hive on eth) or @nathanmars (tweeting all day about hive and motivating people around).

Maybe aggroed also had their own things here and there, but he doesn't deserve a spot on the top 20? Splinterlands and Hive engine isn't enough?

What about the vision for hive which people like @ats-david have? Left in the dust? What about the old SMT which we already had in testnet in steem? What is our direction?

I mean, we spend a lot of efforts talking about hive being the 'best' ecosystem for dapps and all the stuff. What about TAKING CARE about what we already have?

Can we at the least try? I have the feeling that we're just (as a community) letting 'it' die.

Maybe I'm ranting a bit too much, I know. We can't blame anyone in that sense as it's a collective responsibility but... BUT. hope you get my point.
